Customer Process Improvement Project Manager £300-£350 per day Nr ref.: /JOBS.pl Salary: 300.00-350.00 British Pound . GBP (Daily)   Our client is an SME providing a range of services to international automotive manufacturers. A significant number of customer programmes are managed by a relatively small management team. The client is seeking to expand the scale and quality of existing service offerings whilst building on new opportunities. The successful candidate will be presented with several key customer accounts and will be expected to work with a degree of autonomy to improve and develop the service offerings. Project resources may be scarce and it will be expected that the Project Manager will provide as much personal input as necessary to reach a successful outcome. Purpose: The principle role is to manage and control projects assigned to him/her by the Programme Manager and the Operations Director. This will include leading on a range of business improvement projects to deliver results in a very short timescale. Experience of managing business change/process improvement projects along with an analytical mind would be very advantageous. The successful candidate will be charged with hitting the ground running to rapidly add significant value. Main Duties/Responsibilities: Have overall accountability for successful project delivery to time, cost and quality expectations. Present initial plans and ongoing status reports to senior stakeholders Ensure that project scope is adequately defined and agreed. Ensure project issues and risks are managed to an acceptable conclusion. Negotiate relative project priorities. Provide advice and guidance to those directly responsible for the production of project deliverables Produce and ensure sign-off of individual project plans Track project progress against agreed plans and react accordingly to adverse situations. Facilitate project meetings and report project progress to the Management Team Ensure adequate mechanisms are in place for tracking supplier progress and act as the main point of contact for several key customers. Ensure supplier delivery commitments are adhered to. Chase and escalate where appropriate. Core Competencies: Graduate level education or relevant practical experience. Project management qualifications like Prince 2 or PMI Experience of managing business change projects would be a significant advantage Business Transformation project experience or process improvement experience is essential Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills Self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision to deliver results. Demonstrable experience of managing project deliverables with very scarce resources Background of working in a number of complex organisations Ideal background organisations Automotive, Fleet services or Transport.
