Junior Support Technologist
6 Month contract - Blackpool - £12-£14 per hour
Junior Support Technologist required to deliver business priority laboratory and factory based technical work and testing in line with the company project portfolio and company strategy.
Duties & Responsibilities (leadership, people development, planning and execution)
Conduct lab based testing as required.
Laboratory test methods
Departmental preparedness - technical and compliance
Conduct investigations into laboratory failures and raise issues with test results to appropriate level of management.
Write protocols and reports for studies.
Co-ordinate own week to week workload in line with your project plans and Departmental priorities and overall business framework.
Adhere to the Change Control and Design Control requirements
Quality and Compliance Related Responsibilities
Ensures that all activities are carried out in compliance with all regulations and laws governing business and quality operations
Responsible for ensuring compliance with all local, national, international and company regulations, policies and procedures for Health, Safety and Environmental compliance.

Previous experience of working in a laboratory and with common analytical methods and equipment in either a company or academic environment.
Experience of laboratory analytical equipment and test method validation
Some previous experience in medical device or related regulated industry desirable but not essential
Previous experience in protocol and report writing and data analysis
Good communication skills
Able to deal with constantly changing requirements and priorities
Ability to work as a team
Manage your own time and workload
Excellent organisational and project management skills
Specific Technical Skills
To have the ability of numerical reasoning, verbal reasoning and to be PC literate Desirable
Strong project management and problem solving skills
A good knowledge of design control and change control
Knowledge of statistical techniques
