This role can be based in in Europe (2 locations), the UK South East or USA (2 locations); full red carpet relocation is available for this role with the USA, Europe or internationally - with full visa and tax support.

You want a global role, which gives you overall decision making on the strategy of your compound for medical and the major influence on the Ph 3 design You want to work with a novel dual pathway IL mAb NME You want to warm the market up with a efficacious proven inline molecule for a new indication trial and launch first before the NME as the medical strategy lead You want to feel ownership of your compound, in my client's words, you will view your compound as your child, and be keen to see your 'child succeed' You want to work in a company where the operational medical affairs is managed through your direction by regional teams with an emphasis on you being the strategy lead and the regions being the doers You want to belong to the most senior LT that operates super the regional groups, and have the P&L, hence decision making on all activities on that compound You have expertise in immunology specifically inflammation, including wider therapy indications not just RA such as PsA.
You are innovative, understand how to turn data in to sound and compelling clinical value/ patient value dossiers, with a keen eye for the patient view, and sound negotiation skills with regulators built up from experience and of course the KOL set piece in terms of selection and influencing the right IKOLs and regional through leaders.
You want to be surrounded by a small but highly capable group of individuals who share the same patient interest, are close knit but all have different backgrounds from the relevant late stage development and lifecycle functions.

This is a highly strategic role with a great deal of support and visibility from their Senior LT and senior management committee facing. You will have strong partners in the regions to help you implement your vision and strategy for the molecule, and strategic marketeers and OR individuals to help you attain your objectives.
The role reports to an ex Wyeth / Pfizer and Centocor senior commercial head, who is highly capable, experienced and supportive, without blurring lines of accountability, and has a successful track record with biologicals and earlier, traditional compounds.
