At Kepler, you'll have the opportunity to work with a small dedicated team of engineers building the Kepler spacecraft. You will design different subsystem PCBs from schematics to layout with a focus on implementing Software Defined Radios (SDR)s. Day to day you will interface with RF, antenna, FPGA, and DSP engineers on your team to identify timing paths and layout constraints. A solid understanding of the entire communications chain from coding to decoding and everything in between will make a candidate stand out.
Skills: circuit design,Hardware Engineer,Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, radio related test equipment (signal analyzers, network analyzers),Hands on experience testing and assembling PCBs
Text title: About Us
At Kepler, we are building the internet in space. But ultimately, the people that make up our team are hobbyists, we are inquisitive, we tinker, we look at how the world is and question how we can make it better. We believe in providing the autonomy and resources to ensure complete product ownership from inception to execution. We believe in maintaining an environment of open communications, with no egos across all roles. And most importantly, we believe in unrelenting improvement. At Kepler, every day brings new challenges, new skills to learn. This is an environment where better always trumps good enough.
