Unata is looking for an Events Marketing Manager to help us build our brand and our growing grocery retail client roster. Unata is a growing startup looking for someone who can thrive in a fast-paced, innovative and ever-changing environment. Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing, the Events Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing all external events related to the following key initiatives:Prospect lead generationLocal company awareness and brand development to support recruitmentUnata's bi-annual Client SummitThis is a unique role for someone who has a passion for events, an entrepreneurial spirit, and the ability to maintain the bigger picture while thinking outside the box. This is an opportunity to work at one of the fastest growing tech startups in Toronto, working closely with a number of internal stakeholders across the organization including the VP Retails Solutions, the Head of Talent Acquisition and our COO. Most importantly, this is a chance to own projects from start to finish. Some travel will be required as part of this role.

1. Own and manage all grocery retail events in the US and abroad related to our strategic lead generation effort and all local (GTA) tech industry events related to building Unata's brand to support talent acquisition efforts, including:Create & manage calendar with all available eventsRecommend events that align with Unata's sales, marketing, and recruitment strategiesPlan and execute all events that require attendanceProduce event materials such as booths, banners, swag and more; as requiredEvent promotion, including but not limited to blog posts, press releases, social media, website updates, and moreSupport sales team as needed with pre and post event outreachEvent budget managementPost event evaluation and reporting2. Owner of Unata's Client Summit; a two day bi-annual event that involves hosting all of our retail partners.3.
