The job role - Director of Logistics Operations is within PRA Health Sciences logistics division - IMP Logistics and is based in Minsk, Belarus.
Director of Logistics Operations is responsible for all operations activities and staff within their department, by assisting in the planning, implementation and monitoring of all ongoing activities and projects in it.
Director mentors and leads the operations management, maintains appropriate resources to achieve maximum staff billability and adheres to quality management practices. Provides leadership in the implementation of PRA's quality initiatives and business processes, achievement of management goals within the framework of the company mission, policy and philosophy. Ensures staff development, performance feedback and HR policies are properly implemented. Ensures appropriate profitability for all the projects conducted in the unit(s).
General responsibilities of Director of Logistics Operations are:
Mentoring and development of employees; appropriate employee resource allocation; leading interfacing with the clients and prospective clients providing the technical and business credibility to gain market share and to increase the number of business opportunities for the unit(s) and for PRA; ensuring timely management of projects; continuous improvement policy maintenance; providing input to central proposals for project bids to ensure all projects can and will be managed within contractually agreed upon schedules and budgets; providing leadership to all staff in the unit and transmits and enforces corporate messages and initiatives; representing IMP Logistics in forums and meetings inside and outside PRA;

To be successfull in this role you would need to have:
Management experience; Extensive experience using computerized information systems; Knowledge of ICH and local regulatory regulations regarding drug research and development; Knowledge of local legal framework regarding employment required; Knowledge of business administration principles; Fluency in English and Belorussian; BS degree or its international equivalent in clinical science or health-related field from an accredited institution, or equivalent work experience required; Graduate degree in Life Sciences or MBA, or its international equivalent, preferred
