  • For our Life Sciences client in Switzerland, we are currently seeking a Team Administrative Expert.

    Job Title: Team Administrative Expert

    Start Date: ASAP

    End date: 04/2018

    Location: Basel, Switzerland

    Languages: Fluent in German and English

    Your role

    • Regular administrative duties such as checking & actioning invoices, filing, meeting agendas/minutes/technology, organisation charts
    • scheduling recruitment interviews
    • onboarding new hires: arranging welcome package, introduction meetings, ordering office/IT equipment
    • Complex diary arrangements
    • International travel scheduling
    • On and off-site team meetings/events and workshops
    • creating and perfecting PowerPoint presentations
    • Managing Excel spreadsheets
    • Expenses management
    • working with existing and new technology systems (ie web-enabled document sharing, clinical trials data etc)
    • introduce process improvement and new process introduction
    • Take initiative, be flexible and embrace change, innovate, work quickly, balance multiple complex tasks, use your 'can-do' solution-oriented approach and sense of humour to adapt and quickly deliver.

    Experience & skills required


    • Bright and a quick thinker - preferably degree educated otherwise similar good level of academic achievement


    • Strong relevant experience as a Team Assistant within an international environment, used to performing the broad range of tasks in this role description
    • Strong IT skills, particularly software such as Email, PowerPoint, Excel; hardware such as teleconferencing, videoconferencing. Natural interest in learning and leading the introduction of new technology
    • Strong interpersonal skills; a mature approach to your work, sensitive to others, proactively growing your internal network
    • Experienced working with a diverse set of nationalities, backgrounds and styles
    • Excellent time management, prioritisation, planning and influencing skills; used to delivering yourself rather than delegating to others
    • A commercial approach - interested in the business you're supporting
    • Business-level written and spoken English; advanced/intermediate German
