At times, he or she is responsible for intake and logging work requests within the GloDOCS ServiceNow log, clarifying instructions, negotiating deadlines, and communicating status of jobs with customers via email or telephone.Role and responsibilities also include:Completing basic to advanced-level projects in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Acrobat Professional with high accuracy and within strict deadlinesUsing "core utilities" such as OmniPage, AbbyyFineReader, Workshare, and Litera Change-Pro Proofreading for accuracy Converting and formatting documents from one application to another Assisting with Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Acrobat help calls Troubleshooting and stabilizing documents Utilising the Document Management System (DMS) to retrieve, deliver, and manage documentsPromoting effective work practices, working as a team member, and showing respect for co-workersKey Requirements:Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Word 2010 Basic to advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Experience working in a center environment preferred Ability to learn new software packages quickly Team playerThe successful Document Specialist has a strong knowledge of applications typically used in a legal word processing environment, such as MS Office Suite, Acrobat, Interwoven, Abbyy FineReader and DocXTools. He or she also has the ability to learn new software packages quickly. Fluent English and German language skills are required and fluency in additional European language (French, Italian, or Spanish) is a plus. Microsoft certifications are preferred.
