Each Pharmasave store operates independently to serve its individual community, which ensures both programs and services tailored to the needs of customers and a commitment to helping all customers. Reporting to the CEO, the Regional Operations Manager will contribute to the successful operation of Pharmasave Pacific, supporting store sales and performance through the successful implementation of Pharmasave programs and initiatives, while protecting the Pharmasave Brand. As an integral member of the region's Management Team, the Regional Operations Manager shall participate in the development of Pharmasave Pacific's annual budget, strategic priorities and objectives, and provide leadership to the region's Operations and Pharmacy resource team. This is in our Surrey (Cloverdale), BC regional office. Key Responsibilities: Working closely with other Management Team members (merchandising, marketing, planning, and finance), effectively lead the BC region's Operations and Pharmacy resource team in its key areas of responsibility, including: Pharmasave best practices regarding program support/implementation, Brand standards, store training, business development, and merchandising/marketing initiatives Lead and motivate the Operations and Pharmacy Team to achieve operational and performance goals, supporting both individual and overall regional objectives Support the overall business activities of the Pharmasave Pacific region and over 140 franchise owners in BC Required Competencies: 10 years of progressively responsible experience with at least 5 years in operations management (retail management considered an asset) Excellent management, negotiating and organizational skills Proven team leader; effectively lead and inspire a team to achieve results, individual and common goals Experience in the drugstore/community pharmacy industry considered an asset (licensure as a pharmacist is not required) Experience in budgeting, project management, accounting, operations, and human resource management Strong interpersonal, communications, and presentation skills Advanced presentation or media training skills considered an asset Highly organized; able to prioritize and focus other individuals on appropriate tasks, in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint Demonstrated ability to read and interpret financial documents and spreadsheets Works effectively in an entrepreneurial and highly collaborative environment Able to direct and work in harmony with a diverse group of highly motivated and capable professionals Demonstrated relationship-building skills Strong sense of trust, teamwork and community Flexibility in scheduling; ability to adapt schedule to meet the demands of the company Ability to travel; must have a valid BC driver's license Willing and able to exercise the authority entrusted in order to accomplish assigned duties and responsibilities Must be comfortable and competent in a range of venues when there is need to represent Pharmasave at the request, or in the absence, of the CEO or Management We thank all applicants for their interest.
