Production manager Nr ref.: /JOBS.pl I am currently recruiting a production manager specialised in DSP for one of the world's leading suppliers to the pharmaceutical sector.Responsbilities:-Manufacturing organisation:Build and organise the production team to meet the needs defined for his service. Define the annual budget and control the costs of the related activities (manufacturing and building).Ensure that the microplanning is aligned with the masterplan, is up to date and is followed by the team.- Equipment and building:To manage all equipments associated with H2 building.Define user requirement specifications for (new) investments to optimise and/or increase the production capacities, Be part of the engineering projects deployment.Technical Support: In collaboration with the technical department: define the maintenance strategy and set the right priorities for short and long term interventions.Assure that a risk analysis is done for all equipments and standard procedures applied.Responsible of the H2 building.- Quality & Regulatory Affairs:In collaboration with the OPDS team and the whole OPST team: represent the service for audits (FDA, Customers, Internal, …).Responsible to apply the cGMP rules in production.- Safety, Hygiene and Environment:Coordination of the risk assessment for the activities of his team.Coordination with the SHE team including safety equipments, preventing risk of accident or environment incident.Ensure respect of the safety rules.Responsible for the ongoing continuing education in safety of his teamCoordinate the safety analysis of the different workplaces.- People Management and team spirit:Act as a strong leader: keep high level of discipline and rigour, motivate people, maintain a good team spiritIdentify leaders for key positions and push their development.Clearly define the responsibilities within the organisation. Set up clear targets and measure them (KPI).Implement "empowerment" throughout the organisation (creation of closed control loops).Responsible for the management of the training matrix following the tool in place and ensure that the required and continuing training of his personnel is carried out and adapted according to need.Evaluate annually the direct reports. Evaluation's revue of operators.Improve the competence of the personnel by encouraging training and own apprenticeship.In collaboration with the head of OPTS and Human Resource Department: recruitment of the workforce for the production team.Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the team using the OPEX tools.Manage the resources according to the planning: organize vacations, be proactive to identify a risk of downtime or a need of additional workforces.Promote and develop the flexibility within his team and in the whole operations team.Directly exposed to the unions.- Continuous improvement:Implement appropriate systems which allow continuous improvement of equipment standards, unit operations and production processes as well as training of the employees.React on failures / deviations and initiate appropriate measures in order to increase the overall system performance.Improve the competence of the personnel, by encouraging training and polyvalence.Facilitate the implementation of Lean / 6-sigma tools: 6S, Kaizen, Kanban, visual management,For more information on this role or a full job description, please get in touch to arrange an initial screening call.
