  • Role Description: This individual will be responsible for the development and execution of integrated campaigns to support the business and brand goals of BlackRock and BlackRock's iShares ETF business. A critical component of the role will be to monitor and analyse programs to better understand how BlackRock can speak to individual investors as well as financial intermediaries and contribute to ideas that will influence their behaviors to create better financial outcomes. BlackRock is a dynamic environment that prides itself on being fast-moving and relevant; to that end this person will need to be able to work in a rapidly changing environment and have the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time. Further details: Report to the Vice President of Strategic Content Marketing and will work in conjunction with the Product and Channel Marketing teams to ensure alignment on campaign support Work closely with other members of the communications and marketing team, operating business leaders as well as external vendors and consultants Manage the deployment and execution of integrated brand and product advertising campaigns across digital, print and social Directly responsible for working closely with creative agency on all aspects of creative development and production Partner with internal teams (content, direct, paid search, social) on campaign channel execution Manage a rich content/editorial calendar that attracts a qualified audience (including whitepapers, e-books, reports, webinars, infographics, etc.) Track the efficiency of marketing projects by collecting campaign assets, deliver performance reports, mitigate issues and share results for improvement/expansion with partner managers Develop content creative to support and improve SEO rankings and help to promote the BlackRock and iShares brands on industry news sites and blogs Embrace best practices and trends in social media marketing (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram), enjoy being creative and work closely with internal lead on how to both build and convert a digital audience Contribute to the content development of placed articles, written pieces, web content, video content, high-profile marketing campaigns and thematic presentations as required Develop a deep understanding of our business, distribution channels, clients, and marketing strategy to be able to interpret strategic intent and translate these into messages / thought leadership programs to support the business's goals Manage compliance/legal review; ensure copy is regulatory compliant Qualifications: Results-oriented marketer with at least 3-5 years of relevant experience BS/BA degree (or equivalent) required. Degree in business, marketing, communications, journalism, finance, economics, or related discipline preferred Excellent end-to-end project management from insight to execution, demonstrating the ability to drive strategy to seamless deployment Strong data and analytics capability to inform campaign strategy and optimize across paid, owned, and earned media Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Flash, and JavaScript. Experience with SEO and SEM Demonstrated professionalism and ability to manage competing interests and complete projects accurately and under demanding conditions Must be able to work independently and problem solve Team player, fast learner, and able to work with a high-performing team to meet deadlines Flexibility and ability to thrive in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment BlackRock is proud to be an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
