A leading global bio/pharmaceutical services organization, have an exciting new opportunity through sheer expansion for a Snr Manager Drug Safety to join their dynamic (and ever growing) Global PVG team on a permanent basis. This is a highly interesting role as it has a fantastic balance between technical & direct line management, not to mention the person will be rewarded with an Associate Director title too. This Snr Manager Drug Safety will be responsible for the overall conduct of the safety department as well as assisting the Executive Director of Safety in his/ her tasks. Furthermore the Snr Manager Drug Safety will be responsible for guiding proposals, processes, budgets, regulations and staff in order to ensure quality deliverables. Additional responsibilities of the Snr Manager Drug Safety will include but are not limited to;•Evaluate and respond to client requests for proposal as requested•Participate in bid-defense preparation and presentation•Evaluate and determine appropriate Safety resources to assign to project teams as requested for study proposals and study execution•Evaluate staffing requirements and adjust accordingly•Evaluate the program specific requirements and document the required procedures•Oversee safety staff and processes •Evaluate safety project budgets and participate in Change Order generation•Oversee reporting timelines and evaluate compliance•Attend client operational Face to Face meetings, Investigator meetings and teleconferences •Generate and Monitor Department Metrics•Prepare procedures, SOPs, guidelines and other standard materials required for departmental functionThe Snr Manager Drug Safety will have;•Bachelor's Degree is required•Minimum 5 years of experience at increasing levels in Pharmacovigilance with responsibilities including prior responsibilities at the departmental level•Global Pharmacovigilance experience from either a HQ of a Pharma/ Biotech/ CRO•Experienced in management of multiple Safety staff with department management experience preferred (2 years plus)•Previous experience in the management of a Safety department•Excellent written and verbal communication skills•Eligible to live and work in Switzerland without SponsorshipIf successful in securing the role of Snr Manager Drug Safety, you will be offered a low hierarchical, team-oriented work atmosphere with scope for independence; exposure to an interesting and broad range of activities and a competitive and attractive remuneration package.
