Snowboard Instructor Internship Train to be a snowboard instructor we'll guarantee up to 16 weeks paid employment as a snowboard instructor. First you complete our 3 weeks intensive CASI Level 1 Snowboard Instructor Course in November. Then you enjoy 16 weeks paid work with the Snow School as a qualified Snowboard Instructor. Applications being taken for 2017 start dates.
All-inclusive: Outbound flights, transfers, 3 weeks hotel accommodation, all meals 7 days/3 weeks, training, video analysis, CASI membership, CASI Level 1 ski exam, 16 weeks paid employment with Snow School, season lift pass. 19 Weeks = 3 Weeks all-inclusive course + 16 Weeks work in resort Upon successful qualification as a CASI level 1 snowboard instructor you will be offered full time employment with one of our partner snow schools in Canada, either Panorama or Sun Peaks Resort. Your new accommodation will be arranged and you will live as a snowboard instructor until the end of winter. You will have a real paid job with the Snow School, gaining valuable teaching experience, as soon as you are qualified. Fly out November Three weeks training with experienced Canadian Instructors Ski-in, ski-out accommodation provided during training Meals provided during training Canadian CASI Level 1 qualification undertaken at the end of training period in December Successful interns with Level 1 CASI qualifications are offered work After training period all accommodation and food is the responsibility of intern Snow School will provide staff accommodation at reasonable rates Interns will receive level 2 training and instruction from Snow School throughout the season Interns will be encouraged to take their CASI Level 2 by end of March In April interns can either fly back to the UK or stay on in Canada
Working for the snow school Your job will include teaching a variety of lessons. Some will include 3 to 12 year olds on the nursery slopes, beginner adults and some all mountain teaching.
Candaian Working Visa A British applicant needs a visa to work in Canada, this is applied for through the Canadian International Experience Programme. To be eligible for this visa you must be between 18 and 30, live in the UK, have a British passport and provide a criminal check.
