PPD has an exciting new vacancy for a Senior Manager, Publishing.
In this role, you will be an integral part of the Electronic Publishing management team.
You will ensure the on-time delivery of a quality product to the sponsor. Provide advice and strategic guidance to clients to address local/regional/global product submission format and technical requirements for submission and publishing deliverables, as well as product dossiers. Manage projects in the provision of publishing and submissions services. Act as liaison with internal and external clients in the provision and marketing of these services. Serve as liaison to internal departments such as Regulatory Affairs, Medical Writing, Biometrics and Business Development.
QualificationsEducation and Experience Requirements
*Bachelor's degree required * 8 years of relevant experience using Adobe Acrobat, XHTML, XML, or other appropriate markup language where navigation is used; 2 years of management responsibility *Experience with RIMS (regulatory information management & systems), including background in evaluating, implementing, validating, document management systems and/or regulatory submission planning & publishing tools. *Awareness of IDMP (Identification of Medicinal Products) is highly desirable *Experience participating client facing meetings and bidding/proposal experience

*Ability to supervise, evaluate, and mentor departmental personnel *Ability to delegate tasks and facilitate completion of assignments * Strong management skills, including the ability to create and modify budgets, project timelines, allocate resources, and forecast departmental workload *Strong and engaging presentations skills for use in client presentations *Demonstrated innovation in developing new ideas related to process improvements *Excellent grammatical, editorial, and proofreading skills *Strong document management and electronic submission knowledge *Proficient in Microsoft (MS) Word and MS Excel * Advanced knowledge of electronic templates and skilled in formatting and troubleshooting templates *Advanced organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills to manage several complex projects in parallel and manage rapidly changing priorities *Ability to independently assess sponsor needs and work with project team members in producing compliant deliverables *Ability to independently learn new technologies *Advanced editorial/proofreading skills *Strong leadership to a diverse staff *Ability to work on extremely complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangible variables *Ability to exercise independent judgment in developing methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
