To deliver on this objective, you are responsible for leading, managing and representing teams for truck product lines from cradle to grave, including 1-PLUS product launch programs. You report to the Global Design Engineer Leader Truck and you will be based in our EMEA headquarters in Hannover, Germany. Your main responsibilities
Define and maintain design standards for product line assigned Develop standardized processes for the resources deployed to projects to use ensuring consistency of design philosophy Develop and execute PE tactical plans for product launch programs Oversee product line design project in the regions to ensure alignment to global standards Manage multiple projects simultaneously. Prioritize projects and tasks in order to achieve department and company objectives Manage engineering resources without direct authority for 1-PLUS deliverables Work closely with modeling, requirements analysis, and components engineering to ensure battery designs meet requirements Obtain customer approval for Design Failure Mode & Effects Analysis, Design Verification Plan & Report and engineering drawings Provide technical support to current product line in the region Provide support to key customer technical meetings. Effectively communicate with internal and external customers. Support Technical Sales group with technical presentations and customer responses. Collaborate with the Product Engineering team to ensure a complete roadmap of enabling technologies and methods, covering multiple product generations and all technology domains Provide technical guidance and support in developing manufacturing strategies aligned with the technology roadmap #external
