As part of our on-going growth, we are currently recruiting for a Principal Medical Writer to join our Post Approval Medical Writing group. This will be a first-in-region role and an excellent opportunity for someone to make this role their own. We are in need of a seasoned professional who can hit the ground running, someone who can effectively manage and lead projects in a client-facing role and who is confident in representing the needs of the group within a medical affairs context. This role will frequently be asked to participate in projects that are not well defined initially (such is the realm of medical affairs) and must possess the knowledge to guide and shape them for Medical Writing aspects of the project in order to be successful.Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a clinical science (e.g. pharmacy, medical, nursing) or equivalent; Advanced degree preferredPrevious experience of at least 5 years directly relevant to role and in a work setting (e.g. writing and leading medical affairs and regulatory documents); an academic setting is not equivalent for this position due to the medical affairs, client facing, Project Mgmt, and Business Development skills required.Experience with medical affairs studies such as observational, registries, long-term safety, expanded access, dossiers (GVDs and AMCP), etc. and experience working with medical affairs teams sufficient to be able to verbalize the needs of medical affairs relative to regulatory studies.Strong preference for someone with client facing and business development experience.Experience in managing and directing complex medical writing projectsExperience working in the pharmaceutical, but CRO industry preferred
