Location: Groningen, Netherlands

The Early Development Services (EDS) division of PRA is a global leader in providing early-phase clinical research and bioanalytical services to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. With a reputation built on excellence, quality and professionalism, we work with leading pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, performing clinical research and bioanalytical trials on many of the most advanced experimental drugs and biologics in development today. The department of Project Management is responsible for owning and achieving interim and final contractual deliverables for all early phase clinical research projects within our clinics in the Netherlands, according to time, quality, scope and cost constraints. The team consists of +/-10 FTE Project Managers and 3 FTE Project Associates. The Project Managers manage the project teams and are the primary point of contact for our clients/sponsors.
You direct, support and mentor project managers and project associates and occasionally stand-alone projects You will be responsible for the training of project managers to ensure optimal performance and compliance with PRA systems and regulations (e.g. ICH/GCP, GMP) Responsible for career development, assessment, feedback and retention of employees You are responsible for achievement of departmental goals in accordance with the company mission and objectives You will function as the first line of escalation in case of project/client related issues
Desired skills and qualifications:
Minimum Bachelor or Master Degree in e.g. (bio)medical , life science or comparable direction At least 5 years of (project)management experience within life sciences/pharmaceutical/CRO environment Experience in managing/directing employees is an advantage You are client-focused, result- and quality-oriented, decisive Strong in organizational- and communication skills Fluency in English
