We are keen to hire talented Grants and Contracts professionals with experience in the Pharmaceuticals/CRO industry.As a key member of our expanding global team at inVentiv Health Clinical, you will be responsible for managing the negotiation of contracts and grants across multiple regional and global projects. Working closely with key stakeholders and the sponsor you will ensure that both sponsor and legal requirements are met. This is very much a hands-on role delving into coordination and negotiation of contract/budget execution activities for multiple countries as part of a larger global team.Job Description: * Oversee and/or develop draft Investigator Study Agreements (ISA) consistent with inVentiv Health Clinical requirements, client expectations and approved templates * Review scope of work and monitor activities to ensure communication of requests/requirements for scope changes * Develop and provide quality review of investigator grant budgets according to protocol specifications and local requirements * Negotiate contract/budget details per agreed parameters, and escalate requests exceeding guidelines to the appropriate party for resolution * Act as a global and/or regional lead in accordance with requirements per Scope of Work per project, regulations, and SOPs, including but not limited to: coordination of contract/budget execution activities for multiple countries as part of a larger global team * Coordinate and educate study team and management on key contractual issues, processes, and local requirements * Manage assignments and team activities to meet/exceed agreed targets/metrics while maintaining quality standards * Liaise with appropriate legal, clinical operations, team personnel as required in accordance with inVentiv Health Clinical SOPs * Serve as a mentor for less-experienced team members * Oversee the timely processing of full execution of contracts and related clinical study documents * Ensure accurate tracking of study agreements/contracts, issues and communications * Ensure final documents are consistent with agreement reached in negotiation process and of an acceptable quality * Support staff responsible for processing of site-related grant and pass-through expenses, as required to ensure timely and accurate payments per terms and conditions of executed contracts * Support management in process documentation standardizing and streamlining contract, budget and related activities, and review metrics to recognize opportunities for improvement * Ensure all relevant documents are filed in the required Trial Master File (TMF) per applicable SOPs/Sponsor requirementsExperience Required: * Proven experience in clinical research site management, monitoring, or research contract management * Experience in negotiating budgetary and contractual issues * Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written and verbal communication skills * Ability to read and interpret complex documents * Proficiency in Microsoft application skills, particularly Outlook, Work, and Excel * Ability to manage time and work independently * Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting preferred * Fluency in English and local languageEducation Required:Bachelor's degree or RN in a related field or equivalent combination of education, training and experienceIn return we will offer: * A competitive remuneration package with excellent benefits. * A commitment to your development and training, with the opportunity to progress your career within a market leading and innovative organisation. * The opportunity to work within a successful and rewarding environment.Location: Ukraine, home or office based.inVentiv Health is a global professional services organization designed to help the biopharmaceutical industry deliver new drugs and therapies to market.
