The Head E2E Study Management is accountable for leading the development and management of clinical trial business process activities across PDG. He/She works cross-functionally across PDG, with other Roche partners, as well as external vendor partners supporting the work of SPE, PDG or PD overall.
In this role you will:
Coordinate SPE operational groups in the delivery of projects and initiatives Build, develop and maintain team to support broad operational oversight of operational activities using a process framework Manage the E2E study management team in their day-to- day responsibilities Be accountable for the E2E Study Management team to consistently apply sound, best-practice process management methodologies and use standardized tools, templates, KPIs and other resources to approach and complete work Manage the functional budget covering resources, service providers and all other costs Provides Clinical Trial and business process management expertise by collaborating with business process owners, SPE Operational groups, global PDG leaders, and subject matter experts, in identifying and recommending process improvement opportunities Be accountable for effective people leadership as demonstrated by creating a workplace culture that is consistent with the Company's identified mission, vision, guiding principles and values; by coaching and developing Employees, including overseeing new Employee onboarding and providing career development planning and opportunities and by maintaining a transparent communication.

A relevant post-graduate (MBA) qualification is highly desirable.

A sound knowledge of and past experience working with project management and operational excellence methodologies and tools, such as value stream mapping, business process redesign, Six Sigma, LEAN, modeling and simulation, cycle time reduction, root cause etc; the ability to apply conceptual thinking, analytical thinking & problem solving approaches to complex business challenges and decision making processes A proven track record of effective matrix management in a global organization and with virtual teams. Preferably with experience of working across diverse geographic areas, business settings and cultures. Experience of successfully managing multiple demands and projects simultaneously to time and quality, against tight deadlines and across functions Excellent networking and influencing skills to develop productive and trustful relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally An adaptable, creative, practical and assertive self-starter and motivator Excellent English language and good communication skills
