This globally recognised company located in Wrocław is a fast growing organisation with stable employment conditions. Currently there is a great opportunity to join the company on the position of GL Team Leader.
Your new role
The main purpose of the role is ensuring correct and daily execution of key responsibilities in the FSSC according to the requirements of the Group Accounting Manual for specific area of responsibility (General Ledger). You will act as functional expert for specific area responsible for issue resolution. Your key responsibilities will include coaching team members, setting goals, evaluating skill development, developing individual action plans and training team as needed. You will issue resolution for service area. You will be accountable for day to day operations in general ledger area: prepare/validate automatic GL-postings; prepare manual GL-postings; reconciling balance sheet and GL accounts; determine accruals and prepayments at month end close; perform GL close process; capitalize fixed assets and perform regular bank reconciliations.
What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience in General Ledger will lead to your success. You might also already have leadership experience and/or experience in transitioning accounting activities. You have good knowledge of English and other European language (French/Russian or Italian) , so you will be able to communicate easily in a business setting. You have profound knowledge in the use of SAP. You are also able to travel from 1 day up to one week from time to time (5-8 trips in year).
