On behalf of our Client, developing European Shared Service Center, we are looking for General Ledger Supervisor with Slovak or German or Lithuanian or English.
General Ledger team in SSC supports multiple business units and locations and actively development of the SSC in area of General Ledger. A successful candidate will be responsible for managing the team, meeting Service Level Agreements and Customer expectations, supporting month end, quarterly, and year end book close and audit support. Your role will support the team performance on daily operational basis. You will also report various requirements including monthly balance sheet variance, Tax, SOX, MRC and Audit. GL Supervisor will be reviewing journal entries that get recorded into the general ledger, account analysis, reporting of risk and opportunities. In this position you will also have an opportunity to expand your knowledge of different improvement and transition projects.
To be successful in this role you should have Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics with 5 years of relevant financial experience in a multinational environment. Professional experience in team management (hiring, training, motivating) is required as well as excellent customer service skills. We're looking for someone who is deadlines oriented and has high developed organizational skills with advanced knowledge of Oracle and Microsoft Office (emphasis on Excel & Access). You need to speak fluent English and one of the European language Slovak or German or Lithuanian.
