Supports general business needs & compliance with relevant data protection legislation by ensuring the integrity of data in the HR systems. Verifies accuracy & completeness of data & performs timely updates of all relevant information. Uses appropriate tools & reports & management input in order to correct in-accurate data held within the systems.
Supports the HR team in miscellaneous project work by researching less complex topics. Uses appropriate tools & resources, to obtain relevant information & accurately summarise results.
Supports major recruitment & training initiatives by co-ordinating & arranging defined activities & resources to meet the specific goals. Participates in the implementation of events by performing defined support activities.
Ensures all vacancy-related activities & postings are in compliance with defined standards (valid job titles, JDs, competency profiles etc) & related policies & procedures. Co-ordinates & administers timely & accurate posting of internal & external vacancies using defined media.
Assists management with the administration & issue of appropriate & accurate new hire documentation (contracts of employment, references, medical checks etc) in accordance with FedEx requirements & country specific legislation.
Provides effective administrative support to the HR team by performing miscellaneous functions e.g. co-ordination of travel, arranging meetings, sourcing venues, producing documentation & presentations etc.
Designs & compiles accurate & concise reports that address specific requests from management & the HR team by using available systems/information sources.
Supports management in the correct processing of costs by performing procedural checks on invoices & processing in accordance with local procedures, preparing accruals. Researches BVRs & accurately summarises variances for the Manager.
Takes ownership of written & verbal HR related enquires from internal & external sources by providing accurate & appropriate information to routine enquiries within reasonable timeframes. Escalates other queries to the relevant person/area.
