What's the role?
The purpose of the role is to lead on the establishment of objectives, strategies and tactics for the Transport commercial aspects. The successful candidate will deliver the Transport commercial aspects of that plan, ensuring commercial revenues and net income are always and in every respect at or beyond targets set. The Commercial Manager will also work closely with colleagues in the wider team, to ensure we create the best possible Transport commercial offering and thereby maximise income from every customer.
What will I be responsible for?
Contributing the Transport Commercial inputs to the annual business and strategic plans for us, from both a revenue and a cost perspective
Achieving target commercial revenues and contribution from all Transport business units: car park, rail, car hire and bussing. Representing us at industry events, always providing a positive and professional image. Building a repository of detailed Transport commercial data (for example spend and contribution by business unit, competitor analysis, trend analysis etc.) for use at all stages of negotiation with prospective business partners in car park, rail, car hire and bussing and providing a detailed understanding of the performance and prospects of each business unit in Real Time.
Working with marketing, to develop appropriate equities for the promotion of the Transport commercial business units to customers. Developing constructive, productive and detailed relationships with relevant prospective business partners
