    We are currently recruiting for a Part Time Receptionist to join our friendly Reception Services team here in Letchworth Garden City. The hours will be Monday to Friday 1pm - 5:10pm.

    Your main responsibilities will include:

    • Maintain a secure, safe and environmentally friendly front and Back Office area consistent with being an inviting and comfortable zone
    • Ensure all internal and external calls are managed professionally, promptly and effectively
    • To greet all visitors in a friendly welcoming fashion and to ensure their comfort whilst awaiting collection.
    • Provide a professional tannoy service for internal customers
    • To operate a computerised fax system, ensuring faxes are forwarded promptly to the correct recipient.
    • To operate folding and franking machines to meet internal customer demands to issue post, twice a day.
    • To receive, distribute and deliver all internal and external post, promptly and efficiently
    • Action requests for post to be issued by: Special, Recorded or International signed for.
    • To purchase stationery at the best possible price using items fit for purpose and in conjunction with Procurement.
    • To replenish printed stationery ie headed paper, envelopes, computer printed paper and business cards making sure that the correct logo and Term and Conditions are being used.

    To be successful you will need to have the following experience and personal characteristics:

    • Proficient in operating a Meridian Switchboard using Datapulse Intuition 1000 or flatbed or similar.
    • Good people skills gained within any customer service environment.
    • Pleasant and professional telephone manner with clear enunciation
    • Familiar with workings of office machinery.
    • Flexible with hours as holiday/sickness cover will be required 8am - 5:10pm
